VTCT Course Prospectus
Introduction
VTCT provide nationally recognised industry standard
qualifications in the form of VRQ (Vocationally Related
Qualifications). As such they provide a quality mark for education
and they are highly regarded and sort after by employers. VTCT
courses are only available at registered centres, which adhere to
approved inspection criteria. All courses include the process of
tuition, home study, written assignments and assessment. As a
quality control process this evidence is internally monitored and
externally verified, which ultimately leads to certification.
All VTCT courses require the candidate to submit a portfolio of
evidence and to demonstrate competent performance covering a number
of practical ranges. Candidates will be provided with full guidance
for the evidence requirements and will be individually supported on
each course.
A number of modules can be studied together in a wide range of
Certificates or Diplomas at Levels 2 or 3, which will enable you to
provide a complete range of services for your clients. Individual
units can also be studied independently, to allow you to gradually
build up a full Certificate or Diploma over time. In this instance a
Certificate of Unit Credit is awarded for insurance purposes. This
Certificate of Unit Credit can then be used as evidence in a claim
for APL (Accreditation of Prior Learning) for a module with a larger
Diploma at a later date.
