VTCT Level 3 in Health, Safety, Security and Employment Standards

Please note this qualification is being reviewed on December 31^st 2010 by VTCT and will no longer be available after this time.  (The course is being replaced by the Core Modules).

Introduction

This is a pre-requisite to the following VTCT qualifications

• VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Non-Medical Nutritional Advice
• Level 3 Diploma in Aromatherapy
• Level 3 Diploma in Reflexology

The course can be completed at the same time as technical courses or prior to and it enables you to understand the importance of implementing and maintaining high standards of health, safety and security in the workplace.

• VR02 Support health, safety and security in the workplace.
• VR74 Support employment standards

Delivery

1 day plus assignments and assessments.
Course Fee £170.

Objectives

To carry out a risk assessment to identify and deal with potential hazards.

• To carry out a risk assessment to identify and deal with potential hazards.
• To develop knowledge and understanding of employment standards.
• To promote professionalism and ethics taking in to account equality for customers and colleagues, community involvement, supporting protection from emotional and physical abuse.
• To work within hygienic practices to promote industry practices and cost effectiveness.
• To enhance the image of the workplace.

Additional Information

In addition some theoretical assignments and collection of evidence will be required. Due to the professional nature of our courses you would be required to wear Salon Uniform, as required by our industry. Everything required will be provided whilst on the course.

All external examination fees are in addition to the course fee advertised.
