VTCT Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Beauty Therapy

Introduction

This course is suitable for a senior therapist and offers a comprehensive range of advanced therapies. It is recommended that the course is completed after achieving level 2 qualifications. It allows you to offer advanced facials and body programmes (electrical and mechanical treatments) that are used to enhance and stabilise arrange of conditions together with the necessary corrective exercise and dietary advice. Body massage is also an integral part of the course.

• VR15 Assess the client for beauty therapy treatment.
• VR16 Implement good working relationships with colleagues and clients.
• VR17 Prepare for and provide body massage.
• VR18 Provide mechanical and electrical treatments for the head and neck.
• VR19 Provide mechanical and electrical treatment for the limbs and trunk.
• VR20 Provide advice on dietary control.
• VR49 Provide individual exercise for beauty therapy.
• VR107 Provide body wrapping and body masks.
• VR174 Provide intra-red treatment.

Delivery

30 days including assessment and portfolio building.

Additional Information

In addition you will need to complete case studies in your own time to cover the module ranges and to assist with the learning of your routines. Some theoretical assignments and collection of evidence will be required. On occasions you may be required to provide models to complete ranges; however we do endeavour to provide models for you from our client base.

Due to the professional nature of our courses you would be required to wear Salon Uniform, as required by our industry, and you will also need to purchase your own preparations and small tools in order to practise routines at home. Kits are available upon request. Otherwise everything required to conduct the treatments will be provided whilst on the course.

All external examination fees are in addition to the course fee advertised.
