VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Massage using Pre-Blended Aromatherapy Oils

Introduction

The VTCT Level 3 Certificate in Massage Using Pre-Blended Oils is a specialist qualification to develop learner’s knowledge, understanding and skills to prepare for and provide massage using pre-blended oils.  A range of clients and conditions will be covered.

Pre-Entry Requirements

• Level 3 Certificate in Swedish Massage.
• Level 3 Qualification in Anatomy and Physiology – please note anatomy and physiology questions are included in this course, and whilst the subjects are referred to on the course in relation to aromatherapy treatments, the specifics of the systems are not recovered and would need revising as part of overall learning.

•  Provide massage using pre-blended aromatherapy oils.

Delivery

4 days including assessment and portfolio building at the academy, plus self study Core Module 3 must be taken in addition alongside this course.

Additional Information

Due to the necessity of skill required in massage, the course should ideally be arranged with home study breaks between the tuition to allow the maximum to be gained by you from each of our sessions.

In addition you will need to complete case studies in your own time to cover the module ranges and to assist with the learning of your routines. Some guided theoretical assignments and collection of evidence will be required. On occasions you may be required to provide models to complete ranges; however we do endeavour to provide models for you from our client base.

Due to the professional nature of our courses you would be required to wear Salon Uniform, as required by our industry, and you will also need to purchase your own preparations and small tools in order to practise routines at home. Kits are available upon request. Otherwise everything required to conduct the treatments will be provided whilst on the course.

All external examination fees are in addition to the course fee advertised.
