VTCT Level 2 Diploma in Beauty Specialist Techniques
Introduction
Our course is aimed at students wishing
to offer a more comprehensive range of treatments together with a
full facial service and it forms an excellent basis to starting a
business. This enables candidates to be able provide general beauty
treatments to clients in a safe and effective manner. It covers a
wide range of popular therapies including facials, eyebrow shaping,
eyelash tinting, manicure, pedicure, waxing, cosmetic tanning,
eyelash perming and make-up services to clients.
Modules
- Provide facial skincare.
- Provide eyelash and eyebrow techniques.
- Remove hair using waxing techniques.
- Apply make-up.
- Provide manicure treatments.
- Provide pedicure treatments.
- Apply skin tanning techniques.
- Provide eyelash perming.
- Instruct on make-up application
Delivery
20 days including assessment and portfolio
building at the academy, plus self study
Core Module 1&
Core Module 2 must be
taken in addition alongside this course.
Course Fee £2,750.
Additional Information
Due to the necessity of skill required,
the course is ideally arranged with home study breaks between the
tuition to allow the maximum to be gained by you from each of our
sessions.
In addition you will need to complete
case studies in your own time to cover the module ranges and to
assist with the learning of your routines. Some theoretical
assignments and collection of evidence will be required. On
occasions you may be required to provide models to complete ranges;
however we do endeavour to provide models for you from our client
base.
Due to the professional nature of our courses you would be required
to wear Salon Uniform, as required by our industry, and you will
also need to purchase your own preparations and small tools in order
to practise routines at home. Kits are available upon request.
Otherwise everything required to conduct the treatments will be
provided whilst on the course.
All external examination fees are in addition to the course fee
advertised.
