VTCT Level 2 Award in Wax Depilation

Introduction

This allows candidates to be proficient in the removal of superfluous hair with warm and hot wax, from a range of areas of the face and body. It includes the important Health, safety and hygiene requirements and the awareness of contra-indications to treatment.

• Remove hair using waxing techniques.

Delivery

3 days including assessment and portfolio building at the academy, plus self study Core Module 1 must be taken in addition alongside this course.

Additional Information

Due to the necessity of skill required, the course is ideally arranged with home study breaks between the tuition to allow the maximum to be gained by you from each of our sessions. 

In addition you will need to complete case studies in your own time to cover the module ranges and to assist with the learning of your routines. Some guided theoretical assignments and collection of evidence will be required. On occasions you may be required to provide models to complete ranges; however we do endeavour to provide models for you from our client base.

Due to the professional nature of our courses you would be required to wear Salon Uniform, as required by our industry, and you will also need to purchase your own preparations and small tools in order to practise routines at home. Kits are available upon request. Otherwise everything required to conduct the treatments will be provided whilst on the course. 

All external examination fees are in addition to the course fee advertised.
